The semi-detached cottage is surrounded by farmland and ancient woodland in a peaceful, quiet location, yet within easy reach of all local attractions from the bustling city of Lincoln, the antique shops of Horncastle and the local market towns of Spilsby and Alford, to the east coast seaside resorts of Mablethorpe and Skegness and the charming villages and walks within the Wolds.

From the lounge enter a separate modern fitted and well-equipped kitchen/diner with adjacent utility room fridge/freezer, washing machine and central heating boiler. A separate large shower room with hand basin and WC. Two bedrooms, both furnished with ample wardrobes, chests of drawers, double beds, one bedroom with two additional single beds and one bedroom with baby’s cot.

]]>Located close to a public footpath that leads through the Well Vale Estate to the market town of Alford, through woodlands within some of which were located World War 2 resistance facilities, thankfully never used in anger.
Closeby are prehistoric burial mounds including Giants Hill
Born and raised in the nearby village of Willoughby was Captain John Smith of Pocahontas fame. Captain Smith was Governor of the very first British settlement in what is now the USA.
In the nearby town of Spilsby John Franklin was born and raised.
Another of yellowbelly (Lincolnshire natives enjoy this curious epithet) of repute was Alfred Lord Tennyson who was born and raised in nearby Somersby
